SCROLL DOWN FOR Caipirinha RECIPE
Fancy a quick fix to all those Monday blues because we can sort you out. Today’s special is the Caipirinha in memory of Percy Fawcett’s exploration of the Amazon jungle.
To make this drink you will need:
- 50ml Cachaça: (I use Leblon which is the most commonly found Cachaça in the UK)
- whole lime cut into wedges.
- 2 bar spoons of sugar
Place the sugar and half the lime wedges into a shaker and muddle lightly to express the juices. Next step add your 50ml of Cachaca followed by ice and then shake for 10 seconds. Finally get yourself a rocks glass and fill with ice and the other half of your lime slices, strain your drink into the glass and enjoy!
